What to expect
During Greenland Science Week, you’ll find a wide range of events – both big and small – taking place across the country.

Each event is different, as they’re organized by various scientists, institutions, and local partners. But what they all share is a common goal: to make science fun, accessible, and engaging for everyone.
You don’t need a degree to attend the public events at Greenland Science Week – quite the opposite, actually.
The whole idea is to make science approachable and relevant to everyone.
Whether you're simply curious or deeply passionate, there’s something here for you.

When and where
Greenland Science Week is held every other year, and in 2025, events will take place from November 7–14. (Yes, we know it’s more than a week – but it’s hard to hold back when there are so many awesome activities!)

This year, we’re bringing all the science activities in Nuuk together for one big, public science festival, called Qaagitsi, held at Katuaq on November 14.
You’ll also find a range of exciting events in Sisimiut, Kangerlussuaq and Sarfannguit.
